Hi friends, hope you’re having a gentle start to the week 🫶🏽 I had fun this morning painting with fountain pen inks on my live stream. I’m hoping to do it at least a couple of times a week…

I used a Kakimori stainless steel nib in a @rivercitypencompany holder.

Hi friends, hope you have a great day 🫶🏽 I tried out the Dabbler pen and ink set from Ferris Wheel Press and shared my first impressions on yt. The set comes with an empty pen that you fill up with the enclosed fountain pen ink (or your ink of choice), letting the wick soak before popping it into the pen body. There are three tips to choose from: brush, 0.8mm fine, and 0.5mm needlepoint. I tried the brush tip and while I enjoyed using it for hand lettering, I do wish that I went with a darker fountain pen ink instead of Blue Cotton Candy. Hi friends, have a great weekend 🫶🏽 My 2025 planner and journal stack as it stands in January: 1. Sterling Ink N2/Weeks size - hobby journal, to track and document my fountain pens & inks, books read, podcasts listened to, shows watched, etc.
2. Hobonichi A6 5-year diary - daily “little joys” and drawing with a glass dip pen using fountain pen inks
3. Travelers Notebook standard - inserts for creative journaling and travel
4. Hobonichi Weeks - creative memory keeping and daily highlights
5. Sterling Ink B6 notebook - stream of consciousness journaling
6. PLOTTER A5 rings - catch-all planner
7. Hobonichi A5 5-year diary - daily archive of events  Here is what I added in January:
8. Take A Note A5 - personal thoughts and goals
9. Hobonichi A6 Hon - daily planner/task list I think having a planner and journal lineup that works for you is a very personal and subjective thing. You could be a one-system person or a multi-notebook person like I am and both are just fine.
